Study UK Annual Conference

studyuklogo

Yesterday we had the pleasure of presenting a workshop at the annual Study UK Conference in London.  Attended by over 150 delegates the conference heard from a stellar line up of speakers including Rt Hon David Hanson MP, Shadow Minister for Immigration.  The engaged audience of independent providers heard that immigration is good for Britain and that if there was a change of government students would not be part of the net migration target and his party would look for ways to increase clarity around Tier 4, access to work and volunteering opportunities.

Our afternoon session looked at the findings of our second international student survey Beyond the Data: Influencing International Student Decision Making.  The audience heard how international students decide where to study and what the most important factors are in their decision making.  For those that would like a copy of the presentation you can download it here.

Thanks again to Study UK and conference attendees for a great day!

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) have been running data protection workshops across the UK, and they landed in London on Tuesday 23rd September.  Our dedicated Data Protection Officer Idris Mensa-Bonsu went to catch up with the latest developments. Here are his key highlights.
