We packed a lot into the Hobsons’ schedule for EAIE 2014, in addition to exhibiting, demonstrating our new Student Lifecycle Management solution Radius, running workshops on “What Do International Students Really Want?” and hosting the M&R reception, we also had a chance to talk with some of our 5,000 fellow delegates and take in some of the sessions.
Earlier on in the year we surveyed over 18,000 prospective students and found that when making an enquiry to a university, 60% expect a response within 24 hours. So it was really interesting to learn that only 25% of universities have any CRM system, just 57% of the world’s top 500 universities respond to prospective student enquires within a day and 21% do not respond at all.* Through some of the conversations we had it’s clear that universities across the EMEA region are working towards creating better communications with and reporting on students, so it was great for us to learn more about exactly how we could help institutions to achieve this.
All in all this year’s EAIE conference is Prague was the best yet. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year in Glasgow.
