The children came into the classroom this week full of energy and as eager as ever. We expected smaller numbers because a new club has started on Tuesday at the same time, but this SOLE club remained as busy as always and we had around 35 pupils in the group!
The question this week was “What is the most dangerous animal in the world and why?”
This week was arguably the hardest question so far: “Do boys think differently to girls?”
SOLE club this week again came from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Highbury. This time we had a different question to ask the children:
Who is the most powerful person in the world?
This week we re-launched the SOLE project with Sacred Heart Catholic School in Highbury. We met with our school contact Jamie Harvey to coordinate the sessions with children from Years 4-6 (ages 9-11). Jamie was very excited to start the project, and his enthusiasm was reflected in the huge interest from the students.
Since the start of the year Hobsons has been partnering with local primary schools in the Old street/ Islington area to bring Self Organised Learning into the classroom.
